Sivilian Affairs brings back their Friendly Waters series for a Sunday soiree at RASA Floor, running from 18:00 to midnight. This round features Korean DJ and producer Jesse You, with support from local selectors Gumgo, Mako, The Weatherman, and Sivilian Affairs co-founder Sivanesh.

Based in Seoul, Jesse You has long been part of Korea’s electronic music scene, known for his refined taste in house records. He played at the first Boiler Room Seoul in 2016 and has since played at festivals like Shi Fu Miz, Wonderfruit, and Spectrum Formosus. His mixes have been featured on Red Light Radio, NTS, and Honey Soundsystem, with the latter being selected as Resident Advisor’s Mix of the Day.

As a producer, Jesse’s released tracks on Honey Badger Records, FuFu Records, and Gene on Earth's NUGNET compilation, each showing a laidback, groove-forward approach. He also co-runs Walls and Pals, a Seoul-based label that’s been building a name for itself with a focus on forward-thinking electronic sounds.

Jesse co-runs the independent label Walls and Pals, which has quickly become a rising platform for forward-thinking electronic music from Seoul and beyond. The label’s second compilation, [Pals FM: Floor Materials Vol.1], features Jesse’s original track ‘Silly and Bright’.
