It’s a Secret Pals night, and if you know the pals, you know that when they take over, they tend to bring their fave pals and everyone together with them.
Last year already felt like a real moment for the collective: the chance to host an all-night programme on the Rasa Floor with Junoy Manalo and Jake Toppings. But this one carries even more weight. This time, Secret Pals step in to curate across both Hall + Floor–a full-venue programme built around the same spirit that’s always defined them: range, intention, and community.
At the centre of it is a selector who was quietly pivotal to the start of their journey in Singapore’s local scene: Inner Quiet–the DJ/producer alias of Filipino selector Roberto Seña, currently based in Barcelona.
Long before Secret Pals became what it is today, one of the early sparks was Seña’s set with crwn at Moonstone; one of those nights that made the path ahead feel possible. This booking marks a full-circle return, now with Inner Quiet headlining a programme curated by the same crew he helped inspire.
Eclectic yet sharp, Inner Quiet moves through dub techno, minimal, micro, soulful/tech, progressive house, and beyond with ease–a sound that feels both precise and fluid. Formerly a staple in Manila nightlife, he now brings his take on electronic grooves into his new home base and surrounding scenes, while continuing to take his choice cuts across Thailand, Singapore, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Japan.
As a selector, he’s known for a playful kind of precision–mindful of the room’s energy and shaping it as a reflection of his own. And it’s clear this next chapter is steadily unfolding in Barcelona too, with recent appearances including a Subwax BCN x Evasive Records x Studio Stereo Club collaboration and a Mund Radio stream; early but meaningful signs of a selector continuing to carve out his place in a new city.
For this Secret Pals takeover, the night is split across two distinct rooms: bass-forward global movement on Hall, and house in all its forms, all night on the Floor.
