Singapore's fave Filo party starters, Secret Pals, are taking over RASA Floor and they’re bringing an all-Filo lineup with them, featuring special guest, Junoy Manalo, a producer, DJ, and instrumentalist from Manila.
Joining him on the night are Secret Pals founders Ape and Pat, plus local guest Toppings from the Ice Cream Sundays team.
Junoy’s been active in the Philippine music scene for over a decade, first stepping behind the decks in Manila’s clubs back in 2014. A few years later, he picked up the guitar as a founding member of funk-fusion band Basically Saturday Night, known for their tight grooves and soulful live sets.
During the pandemic, he turned to production, bringing his jazz background and ear for live instrumentation into house music. The result: warm, rhythm-driven tracks with a jazzy swing, released on labels like Sounds Nais, More Rice, and Twelve Points.
He also co-runs Su Casa, a Manila party series that leans into jazz, funk, disco, and house with heart. Influenced by Filipino talents like ThirstKid, Saint Guel, and JAV/, Junoy approaches his craft with patience and a deep respect for musical storytelling with a mission to help build a lasting catalogue of Filipino dance music.
It's gonna be a fun one, 'cause if there’s one thing Filipinos know, it’s how to get a party started and keep it going all night.
