RASA invites Japanese psychedelic techno DJ, Haruka, Hong Kong DJ Jeremy Cheung, and new local event collective Eran for June’s techno Saturday. He’ll be joined by Eran members Aya (of Midnight Shift), Haan (also of Midnight Shift), Prem (Eran co-founder).

Haruka is a Tokyo-based DJ and producer who has become a strong presence in Japan’s techno and dance music community. Over the past decade, Haruka has gained international recognition for his versatility behind the decks, playing well thought-out opening sets, powerful peak-time techno and experimental after-hours sessions at venues across Asia, Oceania, the Americas, and Europe including Womb, VENT, Dommune, The Bunker NY, Bassiani, Tresor, and performaces at Berlin Atonal, just to name a few.

As a longtime resident and co-curator of DJ Nobu’s Future Terror event series, Haruka has played an important role in shaping Tokyo’s underground club culture. He is also the founder of Protection, a label launched in 2019 that explores the space between dance floor energy and contemporary music. Known for his sophisticated and hypnotic style, Haruka’s DJ sets and productions often incorporate psychedelic strains of techno.

Joining him is Hong Kong’s Jeremy Cheung, a seasoned DJ with over 20 years in the game.With a sound the spans the spectrum of electronic music from house, techno to electro and disco, Jeremy has played across top underground venues in Hong Kong—Oma, Mihn, Slap, and Social Room—as well as clubs and festivals across Asia and Europe, from Golden Gate (Berlin) to Sonar HK.

Also on the lineup are Eran members Aya and Haan (both affiliated with Midnight Shift), and co-founder Prem, collectively pushing a raw, heady strain of techno from Singapore. It's gonna be a night of heavyweight energy on the dancefloor.
