RASA and Sivilian Affairs pair up with two distinctive promoters from afar to bring you a dynamic night of house in the Hall and techno on the Floor.
Starting in the Hall, we warmly welcome Breakfast Club Melbourne/Naarm on their Asia-Pacific 12-year anniversary tour. For the uninitiated, Breakfast Club is a notorious marathon weekend afters' event, held anytime between Sunday and Monday which runs anywhere from 12 to 27 hours. Every. Single. Weekend. They've hosted many dance floor favourites from Jennifer Loveless to Tom Trago to Tornado Wallace to Dyed Soundorom. For the birthday tour, we've got their co-founder Jmcee along with a very special guest, Wallace (Rhythm Section, UK). Wallace took the electronic world by storm with his productions with releases on Rhythm Section, CWPT, On Loop, Phantasy and Studio Barnhus. Accompanying the Breakfast Club guests we have Sivlian Affairs' Sivanesh opening the night.
On the Floor, we welcome Berlin's mysterious event Staub. In their own words, 'a party where lineups are a thing of the past and techno is left to its devices narrating a musical journey.' Held at Berlin's ://about blank, Staub has created a community of techno and experimental music lovers who relish and delight in the unknown; its anonymous evenings draw in those who seek authenticity and mystique. In line with the events' ethos, we can't share who is on the secret lineup, but we can share that we have programmed the night to surprise and delight.
In response to the positive feedback, Sivilian Affairs will host its second Sivilian Salon from 8:15pm-9pm, before the club night kicks off. We will sit down with Staub and Breakfast Club to discuss the inner workings of running successful events that do not follow the status quo. Entry for the talk is free; we kindly ask you to register so we can plan for the correct amount of attendees.
