For this month’s RASA Weekender, local partystarters Sivilian Affairs bring their Friendly Waters series to RASA Floor for a Sunday Soiree
Dedicated to spotlighting talent from across Asia Pacific, Friendly Waters continues its mission by inviting two standout guests: Bali’s Klymax resident Seabass and Kiwi DJ Aroha, with Sivilian Affairs co-founder Miss Lil and local guest 3MZY on support.
Seabass, a resident at both Potato Head Beach Club and Klymax Discotheque, is known for his ability to unearth hidden dance music treasures from a wide range of genres. His sets invite dancers to explore sounds beyond the mainstream, taking them on an unexpected musical journey. Beyond his DJ work, Seabass produces electronic music under the alias LAST SCAR and runs the record label BDRECS, collaborating with artists such as Senyawa and a host of local DJs and musicians.
Joining him is AROHA, a DJ, producer, and cultural force originally from Aotearoa (New Zealand) and now based in Naarm (Melbourne). Her high-energy sets move through styles and global underground influences. She draws from her Māori heritage to use music as a form of storytelling, resistance, and connection. Voted New Zealand’s Best Club DJ, AROHA has performed alongside icons like Grace Jones and Kaytranada and on major festival stages including Pitch Music & Arts, WOMADelaide, and Rhythm & Vines.
Don’t miss this special edition of RASA Weekender, where Friendly Waters brings together two of the region’s finest for a Sunday celebration of diverse sounds and dance floor discovery.
