On the eve of Vesak Day public holiday, RASA opens its doors on Sunday to welcome Canadian electronic musician, Priori. He’ll be supported by Bongomann and El Professionel of local label Super Enjoy, and Haan of Midnight Shift.

Since the late 2010s, Priori has gained recognition within Montreal’s electronic music community for his work across techno, house, IDM, dub techno, and ambient music that’s inspired by science fiction and fantasy.

In 2018, Priori co-founded the NAFF label with fellow Montreal artist Adam Feingold (Ex-Terrestrial). NAFF has released a steady stream of electronic music, including Priori’s solo albums and collaborative projects such as Jump Source (with Patrick Holland) and ANF (with Adam Feingold). Latreille is also involved in other projects like RED, MSL, and Ntel, each exploring different musical directions.

His discography includes three full-length albums: On a Nimbus (2019), Your Own Power (2021), and This But More (2024), which incorporates both electronic and acoustic sounds and is accompanied by a booklet of stories and animated visuals. Priori’s music balances dancefloor energy with more reflective moods, appealing to both club audiences and home listeners.

In addition to his own work, Priori is a sought-after mixing engineer, providing his skills to a variety of artists in the Montreal scene. He has performed at international festivals such as MUTEK, Organik Festival, and venues including Tresor, Fold London, Hong Kong’s Mihn Club.
