A big one at RASA 🎢
From the legendary “Yankee King of Weird House” to the warm, soulful pulse of Manila’s own, here’s what’s on:
Warming up the Floor are Daytime Dancing (@pic_niks), SONI and RAAJ — three local selectors with their own way of moving a room, bringing together bright, surprising shades of house, disco, techno and groove to build the night from the ground up.
First up, Saint Guel (PH) — Miguel Santiago, the kid who burned mixtapes on Limewire at nine, discovered Virtual DJ in 7th grade, and started producing at 15. What began in a bedroom in Manila has taken him to Berghain, Savage, The Observatory, Tuff Club, and every corner of Asia in between. Resident at Equation and Wonderfruit, with releases on Transit, FuFu, and Philoxenia, he's become one of the most magnetic selectors working today — not just for what he plays, but for how it makes you feel. His sets carry that Filipino warmth, that uncanny sense of being home even when you're thousands of miles away. He wants to turn the floor into one living thing where everyone loses themselves together. And honestly? He usually does.
Then, the one and only Maurice Fulton (DE) takes over: a 40-year veteran of the decks, whose hardware-driven, genre-defying sets of garage, classics, and underground gems have earned him titles like "Yankee King of Weird House" and a reputation for leaving crowds screaming for more.
He has spent decades moving between radio, clubs, records, productions and remixes, always with his own unmistakable touch. from baltimore to new york and far beyond, he has built a body of work that feels deeply lived in — full of instinct, surprise and a kind of freedom that only comes from being completely committed to the music.
In the Hall, the triple threat trio HAMMY, KOONZ & SNOOZE deliver a cheeky b2b2b of all things funky, groovy, and bouncy - because even if you snooze, you'll wake up to groove.
