Some plants grow best when left to wander. They twist, stretch, and find their own path toward the light — unpredictable, slightly unruly, but unmistakably alive. Acid Pauli has spent the better part of two decades doing something similar within electronic music.
Born from the mind of Bavarian producer Martin Gretschmann, Acid Pauli exists slightly off the straight road of club culture. Psychedelic yet delicate, playful yet deeply musical, his work moves between melody and rhythm with a sense of curiosity that has kept audiences guessing for years.
Before the alias travelled the globe — appearing at festivals and clubs from Montreal to Tokyo — Gretschmann was already exploring electronic production through Console and touring the world with The Notwist. What followed was a project that treats DJing less like a sequence of tracks and more like a living composition.
Behind the decks, Acid Pauli is known for weaving multiple records together at once, layering fragments into evolving sound collages. Melodies drift in unexpectedly, basslines coil beneath them, rhythms stretch and dissolve before reforming into something new. On 18 April, he brings that world to RASA Space.
Elsewhere in the building, the Hall sees Jeanut b2b Numble b2b Uhuanlo come together for a rare three-way session, while Watch Her Bern and Ultra Vibrance set the Floor in motion before the journey begins.
