Hanoi’s infamous nightclub, Savage, takes over RASA Floor with Savage founder Ouissam, and Feelz, the co-founder of Hanoi’s underground collective, Thêm. They’ll be joined by RASA resident Anwar and local guest, Miss Lil, for a night of euphoric house & disco.
Originally from France, Ouissam Mokretar has become a regional entity after a decade living in Asia, with an extraordinary ability to influence the dance music scene wherever he’s called home. While living in Hong Kong, he launched Cliché Records and later the Homesick and Fragrant Harbor labels, to cultivate a disco-house-techno synthesis that shifted the understanding of dance music in the city. Now based in Hanoi, he runs the nightclub Savage, curates the monthly queer party Snug, and programmes Vietnam’s Equation Festival as well as Thailand’s Wonderfruit Festival.
Beyond the accolades, what really sets him apart is a deep, unapologetic love for music. He’s figured out how to channel that passion straight into the booth, sending it out to dance floors like a live wire. From pop-laced house and dreamy synths to boogie, Italo, Korean disco, Japanese funk and even a cheeky Cantopop moment, his sets play out like an ever-evolving love letter to Asia.
Joining him is Manchester-born Feelz, co-founder of Hanoi’s Thêm collective. Originally from Manchester, Feelz has become a fixture in Hanoi’s underground music scene, playing at key venues and festivals across Southeast Asia, including Wonderfruit in Thailand to Likdo’s NYE Festival in Phu Quoc, Equation Festival in Mai Chau, Savage (Re)Treat, and Electric Escape on Monkey Island.
Together, Ouissam and Feelz channel their eclectic musical upbringing and passion for dance music into sets that are intuitive, joyful, and always moving.
