Concluding Women's History Month, RASA welcomes Pam Anantr, resident of Bangkok music collective, Transport. Anantr’s sets are a mix of soulful disco, boogie, jazz-funk, electronics, and house with jazzy, acid, and uplifting vibes.
A rising star in Bangkok’s nightlife scene, Pam Anantr has performed at renowned venues across Asia, including Circus Tokyo, Wonderfruit Festival, Beam Club, Zodiac Jakarta, where she’s shared stages with well-known artists like Soichi Terada, Danilo Plessow, Sadar Bahar, Dita, and Mike Who.
Anantr’s foray into DJing began in New York City, where she studied architecture and immersed herself in the city's lively music scene. She attended iconic events like The Loft, Joy, Body & Soul, and 718 Sessions, which influenced her appreciation for rhythm and melody.
In her homeland of Bangkok, Anantr has made significant contributions to the local music scene. She launched Salon Kiku, a sound room and wine bar, and founded "Ritual Rhythm Weekend," a festival with a full programme of music, workshops, creative markets, and wellness activities.
