Osunlade returns to the room following a night that reminded us why his presence carries weight. For over four decades, his work has traced a line between ancestral percussion and modern club function — not as fusion, but as continuity. Through Yoruba Records, founded in 1999, Osunlade carved out a language for Afrohouse that prioritises ritual, patience, and emotional clarity. His sets unfold slowly, guided by drums, voice, and repetition — music that doesn’t rush the room, but listens to it.
Sharing the night is Max Pela, a DJ whose practice is rooted in care and long-form thinking. Moving fluidly between deep, soulful, Afro and tech-leaning house, Max builds atmosphere through pacing rather than pressure. His selections blur genre lines without erasing them, drawing on rare records and emerging voices to shape a narrative that feels lived-in rather than imposed. It’s a style that rewards attention, where small shifts carry meaning and time is allowed to stretch.
Opening the floor is Leland, setting the foundation with restraint and focus, an opening chapter that understands its role in the larger arc of the night.
