In celebration of Pride Month, RASA resident Loyboy launches Floorplay, his curated night for the queer community and its allies. Taking over both Hall and Floor, the night welcomes special guest Jason Kendig to Floor, alongside local talent 2504 and halia. DJ Sam, and Mr Legume will set the tone at Hall.

Jason Kendig is a DJ, producer, and longtime member of San Francisco’s Honey Soundsystem—one of the biggest queer collectives in the world. Originally from Detroit, Kendig was influenced by the city’s thriving electronic music scene in the 1990s, which led him to start collecting records and DJing as a teenager. He held an early residency at Detroit’s Motor club, which set the stage for his ongoing presence in underground dance music.

Now based in San Francisco, Kendig is recognized for his classy house & disco sets, performing regularly at BASEMENT New York, Panorama Bar, with upcoming gigs at Klymax Discotheque and Savage Hanoi.

Through his work with Honey Soundsystem – a collective known for supporting inclusive nightlife and musical exploration – Kendig continues to bring his thoughtful selections and deep knowledge to dance floors around the globe.
